We come to give discourse on the quality of Love known as generosity. This quality is one that blesses the people around them with largess of spirit and goodwill, with gifts from the heart given without thought to Self and what might return in equal measure to the giver.

This quality of Love creates openings in the hearts of those receiving, which inspire them to continue on their spiritual journey and in the fulfillment of their part in the Divine Plan.

The One who shares with others in order to encourage and give greater confidence to the recipient is manifesting a higher form of Love that could be called Divine, for the One who does so is listening with their heart to the direction that Creator instills within them.

When the World you live upon is peopled with kind and generous hearts who desire only the greatest and highest good for all, for the betterment of all, then the World you live upon is filled with peace, harmony and abundance of all that is good and right.

Life upon this Planet manifests a higher order of Being and doing that encompasses the perpetuation of this quality of Love. Generosity in all its forms is as varied and unlimited in scope as the diversity of each unique individual in the Human family. At every turn on their Path, every individual can at any time perform random acts of kindness, caring and generosity that enrich the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual lives of others.

All that is required is a greater perspective, a deep Love for their family members, neighbors and even strangers who play the role of the inspirer and can uplift and bring clarity into the workings of the Human spirit. Within each Soul lives a greater Presence that counsels and guides them throughout every aspect of their Human life and if One but takes heed of this, One can always walk in attunement and alignment with a higher will and purpose.

When One listens from within, miraculous synchronicities begin to take place with commonality and frequency and the generous One knows not how far the seeds they planted have grown, for sometimes, by their act of kindness and generosity, deep and positive changes have thereby transpired that affected successive generations of people.

And so the generous One graces the entire Planet and brings blessings to all, for every act of kindness and caring creates a new template of conduct as a living example of a Divinely directed life that inspires faith and trust in those around them.

Goodness inspires and begets more goodness, more happiness, more joy, more laughter and spontaneous generosity in every facet of life in Human form. Such people are living in accordance to higher principles of conduct as befits a higher civilization. In such a society, there is no need for the policing of Humanity’s activities, for each individual is genuinely and sincerely taking self responsibility to its highest code of conduct, knowing and doing what is right and good for themselves and that this is also for the greatest good for all.

Generosity of spirit manifests in many forms within the Human heart and always uplifts, supports and ignites the flame of Love within the hearts of others who are inspired in turn to pay it forward.

Doing good for others develops a more disciplined character and personality and tempers selfish tendencies with deeds which surpass the bounds of perceived limitations and restrictions into a place of boundless magic and miracles, for this is the true World, the Creators’ World, vast and infinite in its scope and wonders. We leave you now with generous amounts of Love and healing Light that may bring balance within and around you.

Authenticity, Transparency and Integrity

Do you know how to discern when someone is being transparent and authentic and when they are being duplicitous?

We seem to be living in a time when authenticity and transparency are not highly valued. We have only to look at government and many government agencies such as the FDA, politics, the military, big corporations, some religious leaders, drug companies, insurance companies and the media to see that manipulation and lies are the norm. Many of us have naturally come to mistrust much of what is being said in the media.

People become inauthentic when they have something to hide, and they are transparent when they are coming from integrity.

How can you know when someone is being authentic and transparent, or lying and manipulating? The answer is to learn to trust your feelings.

I rarely watch presidential debates because I can feel how much lying and manipulating is going on. I can’t stand watching commercials – especially food and drug commercials – for the same reason. Same with a lot of the news. I get a yucky, creepy feeling in my body that feels so bad I have to not listen.

Obviously, the intent to control is far more important to all these people and organizations than the intent to be loving to themselves and others. I often wonder - how can they live with themselves? It’s so obvious that power and greed have taken them over and they have completely lost touch with their loving essence. Perhaps they even believe they are being loving to themselves by trying to control everything and everyone.

Having worked with some of these people, I know that they are not happy, peaceful people. Their inner emptiness is so huge that they have to get more and more stuff and attention to stave off their pain. A friend of mine recently worked with a well-known financial success guru. He had been very excited to be hired to work with him, and I was interested in hearing how it went. “It was a disaster,” he told me over lunch. “The guy has no depth at all. Everything about him is superficial. He couldn’t take any of my suggestions due to his ego. I couldn’t wait to get out of there.”

Interesting. Many people I know have taken this man’s workshops, but I’ve never been drawn to do so, because his energy in his videos has felt awful to me. I’m so glad I trusted myself!

There is an energy – a frequency - to authenticity, transparency and integrity that feels clean and light. There is also a frequency to inauthenticity. Sometimes it’s hard to feel it because the person may be very charismatic and sound so sincere. This is why it is very important to move beyond the external and let yourself be aware of the feelings in your body. Since people cannot hide their intent, if you trust your feelings you will be able to pick up the frequency of manipulation and duplicity. When watching politicians, I can hear my inner Guidance saying things like, “He gives me the heebie jeebies.” “Her energy makes me sick.” “Oh Yuck!” (My inner Guidance doesn’t mince words!)

On the other hand, when I feel tingles and shivers, I know that I’m hearing the truth. I also feel an expansiveness inside when someone is being authentic, as opposed to the constriction I often feel when someone is being inauthentic.

I have a much harder time picking all this up when it is someone I believe I know well and care for. This is likely challenging for all of us. When you love someone and connect with their essence, it’s often hard to be aware of when they are in their ego wounded self, being manipulative and deceitful. Sometimes we need others who are not so involved to help with this.

I encourage everyone to work towards trusting your feelings about others, as well as becoming truly authentic and transparent yourselves. It’s a much easier way to live than trying to hide.

The German city of Braunschweig has a new benefactor. An anonymous donor has been stuffing envelopes filled with 10,000 euros in cash into the mailboxes of charitable organizations. His latest contribution was an anomaly. A local hospice found the money under its doormat.

There are stories that are so good they are hard to believe. Henning Noske laughs when he hears such sentiments. A section editor with daily Braunschweiger Zeitung, Noske has been a journalist for thirty years and if there is one thing he knows, it’s that a good story is a good story.

These are crazy times for Noske. His phone is constantly ringing with major German television stations seeking to speak with him. All because his little paper has been thrust into the limelight by a local story. “Every editor dreams of such a story!” says Noske.

It all started with an article about a local robbery. A short while later an envelope, sent by an anonymous donor, found its way to the local victim support center. The envelope contained €10,000 — in cash. Twenty €500 notes.

Further envelopes followed:

€10,000 for a day-care center
€10,000 for four local churches
€10,000 for a choir
€10,000 for a group providing meals to the homeless
€10,000 for a soup kitchen
and on and on.

Over the weekend, the anonymous giver made another donation. An intern at a local hospice found an envelope stuffed with €10,000 hidden under the doormat as she was taking out the garbage.

Even as a variety of organizations have benefited, all the donations have followed the same pattern. Each gift was placed in a white envelope and the donation has almost always been the same, though one was for €50,000. Furthermore, says Noske, “the money was often wrapped in an article from our paper.” The weekend donation was accompanied by an article about the hospice that received the money.

Mystery of the Good Samaritan

The residents of Braunschweig are enthralled. Does the city, in the German state of Lower Saxony, have a guardian angel who, with a newspaper in hand, identifies those in need? A good Samaritan who roams the night with envelopes stuffed with cash?

On February 1, staff at the Braunschweiger Zeitung even found an envelope in their own offices. A reporter had written a feature about Tom, a local 14-year-old boy, who for seven years had been severely handicapped following a swimming accident. The piece described how the boy’s family were dealing with the difficulties of caring for the boy.

A few days later, the receptionist opened an anonymous white envelope to find 20 €500 notes inside. A copy of the article about Tom accompanied the cash. What’s more, the name of the family was underlined in the article: The money was clearly for Tom.

“I was driving when I heard the news,” says Claudia Neumann, Tom’s mother. “I had to park on the side of the road, I was speechless.” Later she told her son that he had received a large sum of money from an unknown donor. Since his accident Tom can only communicate through a computer with a voice synthesizer. He clapped his hands in joy upon hearing the news.

Tom’s parents want to use the money to improve the entrance to their house to make it more wheelchair-accessible. They also plan to enrol their son in a course of therapy that their insurance has refused to pay for. “For someone to act so selflessly, for this to happen in such an individualist society in which everyone thinks of himself,” was astonishing, said Claudia Neumann.

Modern-Day Robin Hood

Nobody knows who the benefactor is. “But of course such a thing captures your imagination,” says Tom’s mother. Her children suggested that it could be the doings of a modern-day Robin Hood — someone who maybe steals from banks to share the money with the needy.

“Or it’s an old person who is about to die,” says Henning Noske. “We just don’t know.” The local paper, which now reports almost daily on the mystery, has decided to respect the donor’s desire for anonymity and is not attempting to find his or her identity.

Recently, though, the paper has begun receiving requests for articles about various organizations in the hopes that a white envelope may be forthcoming. Even establishments in Bremen, some 170 kilometers away, have registered their desire to be reported. “That’s not the way we work!” says Noske. “We will not allow ourselves to be instrumentalized — we always follow the press code of conduct.”

Legally, accepting the money is not a problem, as long as there is no indication of criminal activity.

By now, the mystery benefactor has shared out €190,000. He or she always puts the money in a post box, except for twice. Once, the money was hidden between hymn books and on the weekend it was found under a doormat. Hans-Jürgen Kropkow, a local priest, is among the recipients, having found €10,000 in his mailbox one day. “I’d never held so much money in my hand, it made me jittery,” says Kropkow.

Most recipients of the white envelopes expressed their gratitude through theBraunschweiger Zeitung. Tom’s mother is also planning on placing a thank you announcement in the paper.

“You know, every good journalist dreams of being able to make a difference!” says Noske. But in Braunschweig, a good Samaritan is making such dreams come true.
