"Especially in today's interconnected world, there is nothing that you do that does not affect everyone else in some way. The production, consumption, and waste disposal cycle is now global, and we are all affected by everyone's daily actions.
How I choose to shop, eat, use, and dispose of my garbage has ramifications not only in my neighborhood but the world. Every time I choose a product or service I am voting with my money and my participation. Products and even some services are developed and made far away from where they are consumed. With our decisions on what we purchase, we are affecting what is being created in the world. We are in effect creating the world we want by our choices"
