RUMI

Cada árbol y cada planta del prado
parece estar danzando;
aquéllos con ojos comunes
sólo los verán fijos e inmóviles.

Eye accessing cues

Eyes up and left (their left, not ‘left as you see them’) – The person
is remembering visual images.
Eyes up and right – The person is imagining visually, making up
images or fantasising.
Eyes to the side, left – They are remembering sounds or words.
Maybe they have a ‘tape loop’ running in their head . . .
Eyes to the side, right – They are constructing sounds or words.
Eyes down and left – Internal dialogue is going on.
Eyes down and right – Feelings, both external (tactile) and
internal (visceral).
Eyes straight ahead, but unfocused or dilated – Quick access of
sensory information (can be any rep system, but is often visual).
